Dear John,

It is our privilege to announce that we will be honoring Jewish Voice for Peace (JVP), a prominent voice in calling for the safety and security of Palestinians suffering in Gaza, with the Voice of Courage Award at the MPAC Convention on Saturday, November 11 at the Westin Bonaventure in Los Angeles.

Their most recent efforts, as they held a massive rally at the US Capitol and shut down Grand Central Station in New York City in protest of Israel’s ongoing oppression of the Palestinians, are a testament to their fearlessness in standing up to injustice and dedication to speaking truth to power. Jewish Voice for Peace and Estee Chandler, the founder of JVP’s Los Angeles chapter, embody the spirit of courage and unity with their commitment to human rights and staunch advocacy for peace and security for Palestinians.

As we face the rising challenge of Islamophobia, we recognize that we cannot combat it alone. The steadfast support of Jewish Voice for Peace for the Muslim community is a beacon of hope in our collective struggle against discrimination and injustice. Their presence at this year’s Convention represents a step forward in the forever-mission of cultivating peace and understanding.
