When you buy products from the iHeartDogs store, part of that profit is donated to Greater Good Charities so they can help animals in need. They supports a variety of organizations through their program, which donates food and other essential supplies to rescues and shelters. Those crucial donations often save lives!

Route 66 Pet Rescue in Tulsa, Oklahoma, is one of many animal organizations that benefit from the program. They’re a small rescue that cares for about 30 animals at a time. Without food donations, they wouldn’t be able to support that many animals in need.

Many of the dogs that enter Route 66 Pet Rescue are so malnourished they look like walking skeletons. So, the rescue makes sure their bellies are always full. Some of the dogs have also never felt the loving touch of a human before, so the rescue gives them plenty of affection to help them prepare for their forever homes.

You, Hero, provide healthy dog food to the dogs at the rescue. With plenty of food available to these canines, the rescue can focus on other areas of their care, such as their medical needs. Thus, Route 66 can successfully help every dog regain their strength, health, and energy.

Since Route 66 doesn’t have to worry about food donations, they’re also able to spend more time focusing on the specific needs of each dog. Whenever a pair of bonded dogs arrive at their rescue, they do everything they can to keep them together.
