"For whoever wants to save their life will lose it, but whoever loses their life for me will save it."

– Luke 9:24
Africa & Europe
Pray for IJM cases in Kenya that have been awaiting judgment for a significant period of time. Waiting years for a case to conclude can be extremely difficult for the families of victims of police abuse of power who are waiting for closure. Pray that the families will remain resilient and hopeful even amidst the many adjournments in these cases.
Latin America
We praise God for the opportunity to support a conference that aims to raise awareness among churches about violence against Guatemalan children. Organized by the MOCVIN (Christian Movement to End Violence Against Children), the event took place in the western region of the country and gathered representatives from over 50 churches outside Guatemala City. The primary goal was to engage more churches in the movement. We pray for God’s guidance as IJM assists MOCVIN in preparing training materials to equip churches in their interactions with children who have experienced violence.
South Asia
Please pray for an uptick in pre-election violence in one of the countries where we work. In several cases, political rallies have turned chaotic, and multiple police officers have allegedly been killed. Pray for divine peace to cover the country and protect our staff. Pray for our partners in the police force to safely control violent outbursts in accordance with the law.
Asia Pacific
Praise God for the selection of Malaysia's first group of Victim Identification Champions (VICs) who will train law enforcement officers. This program is a collaboration between the National Strategic Office of the Malaysia Council for Anti-Trafficking and Anti-Smuggling of Migrants Council (NSO MAPO) and IJM Malaysia. The VICs are specially trained officers who will support law enforcement in identifying and assisting victims. We are grateful for this hands-on approach to training, and we pray for God’s hand to guide these individuals.
IJM Global Office & Partners
The IJM global office is located in the United States. IJM has Partner Offices in Australia, Canada, Germany, Hong Kong, South Korea, Switzerland, the Netherlands and the United Kingdom.

Praise God for IJM’s partnership with Dressember! This nonprofit recruits and equips advocates to fundraise for anti-trafficking efforts by wearing a dress or tie everyday during the month of December. Starting this year, Dressember has decided to primarily partner with IJM, and we are eager to work alongside the Dressember team to expand their model to new audiences. Please join us in praying for a successful 2023 campaign!

The updates we share on survivors or their cases can become sensitive over time. To respect and protect
them, please refrain from posting these prayer requests online.
