This week, No Labels made our case for why Americans want and deserve a real choice for president in 2024.
In a conversation on Monday hosted by Open to Debate, No Labels chief strategist Ryan Clancy cited data from a new Interested Parties memo we published this week, clearly laying out how the data reveals that an independent Unity ticket can win in 2024. If you missed it, watch the full debate on OpenToDebate.org on Dec. 1.
Here are three big highlights from the memo:
- The Democratic and Republican parties are shrinking as shares of the electorate, while independents are growing.
- Even within their parties, Trump’s and Biden's hardcore base of support is relatively small and only equates to about 18 percent of the overall electorate for Trump and 14 percent for Biden.
- About three in five American voters could be open to voting for a No Labels Unity ticket in 2024.
It’s clear that the partisan establishment in Washington sees No Labels as a threat to its power, which is why one of our opponents this week took to calling No Labels “perilous to our democracy.”
No Labels Founding Chairman Sen. Joe Lieberman responded: "Do you know what is 'perilous' to democracy? When leaders try to tell Americans what they are allowed to think and when they try to prevent competition from participating in the political process."
We invite you to delve into our full Interested Parties memo to see how an unprecedented No Labels Unity ticket can win and take back our country with our commonsense agenda.
We have much more to do in the months ahead. We are working to get on the ballot in all 50 states, even as we continue our longstanding mission to push our leaders in Washington toward bipartisan solutions to solve issues ranging from averting another government shutdown to getting critical assistance to our allies in Ukraine and Israel.
Your steadfast support is crucial in ensuring the commonsense majority of Americans have a strong voice in the 2024 election.
Together, we can shatter the current political stalemate and usher in a new era of problem solving on behalf of the American people. Your empowerment as a voter is not “perilous” to our democracy. It is imperative.
Thank you for being a part of this journey.
Warm regards,
