John,
Congress just passed a bill to give Israel $14.3 billion in military aid.
That’s $14.3 billion we apparently couldn’t afford to use here at home for relieving student debt, providing universal healthcare, paying our teachers a fair wage and improving our kids’ schools, or feeding the poor.
It’s $14.3 billion for more bombs that will undoubtedly end thousands of innocent lives in Gaza, on top of the more than 9,000 people already killed by Israel as they continue to target residential neighborhoods, hospitals, and a massive refugee camp.
As hundreds of thousands of people across the United States continue to organize, protest, and demand their elected officials support a ceasefire, the majority of our government is enabling and funding genocide with our tax dollars — but not the Squad.
Our bloc of progressive champions have loudly and proudly kept up the fight for a ceasefire and an end to this ethnic cleansing. Despite the vicious attacks against them, they’re not stopping and neither are we.
Justice Democrats is directly helping to turn the tide and elect diverse, progressive leaders who represent our shared values and unapologetically stand up for human rights.
Thank you for all you do to fuel our fight,

There are other ways to make an impact in support of peace and equality in Israel and Palestine: please urge your member of Congress to support a ceasefire through Adalah Justice Project’s petition or by calling them using Jewish Voice for Peace’s dialer here. Your voice matters in this critical moment. |
