I voted in support of H.R. 4821, the Department of the Interior, Environment, and Related Agencies Appropriations Act of 2024, to get our country back on track while directly supporting key infrastructure and water projects that are vital to public health and safety in CA-40.

I will always fight for my community and work to bring common sense in Congress.

California housing insurance costs are unaffordable for too many CA-40 families.

I joined this week's Financial Services Housing and Insurance Subcommittee hearing to ask about Sacramento's failed policies that have pushed providers out of our state and hiked premiums for Californians.

Veteran entrepreneurs are heroes who served our country and now our communities, creating jobs and supporting our economy.

I am proud to honor National Veterans Small Business Week and will keep fighting on Financial Services Committee to reduce regulatory costs.

This week the House came together to pass an aid package to Israel.

I am proud to support our greatest ally in the Middle East, and will continue to support them as they defend themselves against unprovoked terrorist attacks.

Team Young supported Villa Park High School in their Measure S, Phase 2 Topping Out Ceremony for improvements to the student services and the administration buildings. Looking forward to seeing the completed construction project soon. Go Spartans!

Made my day to meet constituent and Vietnam War veteran Mike Black from Lake Forest in the Capitol between votes as he visits DC for the first time.

If you're visiting our nation’s capital from CA-40, please let my office know! We'd love to show you around.

Unfortunately, retail crime and smash and grabs happen nearly every week in CA-40 and across Southern California.

That is why I testified to the Judiciary Committee this week about my bipartisan bill, Improving Federal Investigations of Retail Crime Act (HR 316), which would help federal agencies collaborate with local retailers and law enforcement to crack down on retail crime.

I will continue to fight to stop local retail crime and work with law enforcement to keep our communities safe.

I enjoyed visiting the Loma Ridge Emergency Operations Center in Silverado to hear about their work to prepare Orange County for emergencies.

I'm working to improve communications and information sharing among CA-40 first responders and will keep fighting to protect public safety.

This week I testified at the House Natural Resources Committee on California wildfire and forest service priorities that are vital to our area.

As the representative of the Orange County canyon communities and the U.S. Forest Service Trabuco District, I am fighting to equip our first responders with the tools they need to protect our communities.

Jimmy Lai’s case is just the latest example of Beijing using its "national security law" to control Hong Kongers.

This week, I led the bipartisan, bicameral Hong Kong Sanctions Act to hold officials accountable.

California’s 40th District is home to many small businesses that are creating jobs and keeping our local economies. Team Young attended several grand opening ceremonies this week of new businesses and helped celebrate these entrepreneurs’ success. I am proud to represent so many amazing businesses and entrepreneurs in Congress.

I am working on the House Financial Services Committee to reduce regulatory costs and red tape making life harder for small businesses, and I will always be an advocate for small business owners as they work to create jobs and achieve their American dream.

The 71/91 Interchange Project has several closures scheduled in Corona this fall. The closures are needed to allow crews to safely construct temporary 30-foot-tall support structures extending the entire width 91. More than 200 beams will be placed to support the new connector on top of a tunnel-like structure over the 91. Each beam will measure approximately 120 feet long and weigh 18 tons.

All eastbound 91 lanes will be closed at night Monday through Wednesday from Green River Rd. to Serfas Club Dr. in Corona starting on Monday, October 16 from 11 p.m. to 5 a.m. The eastbound 91 Green River Rd. on-ramp will also be closed nightly starting at 10 p.m. to 6 a.m., and the eastbound 91 Express Lanes in Riverside County will be closed from 10 p.m. to 6 a.m. The eastbound 91 Monday to Wednesday weeknight closures will continue through November 21.
