Nine in 10 people who enroll through Get Covered New Jersey qualify for financial assistance with health insurance premiums, and many pay $10 per month or less.

Open enrollment is the one time of year anyone can shop for a plan, so residents should view their options now.

The Open Enrollment Period for 2024 coverage at Get Covered New Jersey will run until January 31st, 2024. Consumers must enroll by December 31st, 2023 for coverage starting January 1st, 2024; if they enroll by January 31st, 2024, coverage will begin February 1st, 2024.

NJ TRANSIT has opened its Fall Customer Satisfaction Survey to collect rider feedback on public transportation in New Jersey. Survey respondents will receive 250 NJ TRANSIT rewards points and enter a drawing to win a free monthly pass or a $100 gift card.

All State offices will be closed for Election Day, Tuesday, November 7th, 2023 and for the observance of Veterans Day on Friday, November 10th, 2023.

New Jersey clocks fall back one hour with the return to Eastern Standard Time at 2:00 a.m. on Sunday, November 5th, 2023. Daylight Savings Time will return on Sunday, March 10th, 2024.
