Open Enrollment is Here! Get Covered, New Jersey

Need health insurance? Find quality, affordable health coverage today! Compare 2024 plans with the Get Covered New Jersey Shop and Compare tool and find out if you are eligible for financial help in just a few minutes. All you need is your zip code, birth date, and income.

Nine in 10 people who enroll through Get Covered New Jersey qualify for financial assistance with health insurance premiums, and many pay $10 per month or less.

Open enrollment is the one time of year anyone can shop for a plan, so residents should view their options now.

The Open Enrollment Period for 2024 coverage at Get Covered New Jersey will run until January 31st, 2024. Consumers must enroll by December 31st, 2023 for coverage starting January 1st, 2024; if they enroll by January 31st, 2024, coverage will begin February 1st, 2024.

Fall Back: Daylight Savings Time Ends This Weekend

New Jersey clocks fall back one hour with the return to Eastern Standard Time at 2:00 a.m. on Sunday, November 5th, 2023. Daylight Savings Time will return on Sunday, March 10th, 2024.


Tap & Ride NJ TRANSIT

Bus

Bus and light rail customers can now use their contactless credit and debit cards or smart devices to "Tap & Ride" on most NJ TRANSIT bus routes and all light rail lines. More "Tap & Ride" options will be available soon!
