Protecting Students from Discrimination

I believe that every student in the Inland Empire, and across the country, deserves to feel safe on their school campuses. This week, I announced that I’ve reintroduced my bipartisan Protecting Students’ Civil Rights Act to combat race-based discrimination on higher education campuses.

This legislation will require universities, colleges and trade schools to designate a Title VI coordinator to implement Title VI of the Civil Rights Act, which prohibits discrimination based on race, color or national origin, on campus.  

Supporting Women in Business

As your Representative, I am committed to growing our local economy, creating job opportunities and helping our local business owners thrive.

I recently visited the Inland Empire Women’s Business Center to learn how their organization is helping women in our community realize their potential as entrepreneurs and diversifying our local businesses.
