Friend, I am feeling so nourished after joining with 1,500 others last month at the 2023 International Drug Policy Reform Conference. Thank you to attendees, and supporters like you, for making this conference possible and fueling our movement to end the drug war with radical love and inclusivity.
We learned from each other, got inspired, met new allies and friends, and savored the moments of joy that we always find whenever we get together.
As I mentioned at the opening plenary, we are the architects of change who are building a movement hand-in-hand with other movements that promote the dignity, autonomy, and power of all of us. Please watch and share highlights from my speech to spread that message even further as we build that bold, beautiful future together.
And check out these short clips from the conference including the first day, what attendees learned, and what drug policy reform means to them.
Although we are facing a backlash to drug policy reform right now, it is in many ways proof of our success. We are disrupting the status quo. And we will not settle for less. The International Drug Policy Reform Conference is a reminder of everything we stand for. And I know as long as we work together, we will end the drug war and make our vision of the future a reality shaped by love, not war.
I want to send deep gratitude to you all for this incredible experience. Whether you attended or not, your support is the backbone of our movement. And I hope you will save the date to join us for the next conference in Detroit happening November 12-15, 2025.
