Hey John, it's Governor Andy Beshear with a brief but important message for you. I’m in the final days of the most competitive race in the nation this year. Politico is calling the matchup between me and my opponent – Mitch McConnell’s political protégé Daniel Cameron – “dramatically close.” And the latest Republican poll proves it: I’m up just two points, 47%-45%.

To make it to the finish line, I’ll need a surge of grassroots support. This is the last time I’ll ask: John, will you please chip in $3 or whatever you can afford to be split between myself and the DGA ahead of their final deadline before Election Day? Each and every donation to DGA will be quadruple-matched up to their $75,000 emergency goal, but only until Sunday at midnight.

John, this is still anyone’s race.

Daniel Cameron and Mitch McConnell’s extreme allies are spending a combined $21 million in an attempt to buy their way into the governor’s office. It’s clear they're ready to spend – and say – whatever it takes to stop us.

But make no mistake: I’ve been in tough races before, and I know how to win, even when the odds are stacked against me. In 2019, I won the closest gubernatorial election in the country and the second closest ever in Kentucky by less than 0.35% – just 5,136 votes. What made that possible? Support from folks like you who power this grassroots team.

So I’m asking, John: Will you split a donation of $3 or more between the DGA and my campaign to defend our progress here and in states across the country? Right now, all gifts to the DGA are being quadruple-matched dollar-for-dollar up to their $75,000 emergency goal.

We cannot afford to fall short at this critical moment. I know I can count on you.
