Joe Biden's open border is endangering our local communities and undermining U.S. national security. It’s imperative we learn more information on exactly who is coming through our border and the threat they pose to our well-being and way of life. I've joined my Senate GOP colleagues in sending a letter to Homeland Security Secretary Mayorkas and Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin, demanding answers from the administration on its plan to address the threat the open border poses and apprehend the terrorists who have already exploited it. I recently had the chance to sit down with Larry Jones, Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Chickasaw Telephone and Mark Gailey, President and General Manager of Totah Communications to discuss broadband connectivity in Oklahoma. We focused on the need for increased broadband access and legislation such as Lower Broadband for Consumer Costs Act of 2023.

Caring for foster youth is close to my family's heart. Lion Meadows of Hope of Payne County, Oklahoma unites brothers and sisters in foster care and surrounds them with a community of hope to help them grow into caring and productive adults. Thank you to Bryan Larison, Elizabeth Beck, and Jamie Richardson for sharing your story and for the amazing work you all do to better the lives of Oklahoma's foster youth.
