This is the House’s current reality. After weeks of party in-fighting, the Republican Party caved to MAGA extremists and elected Mike Johnson as speaker of the House.
This is the same Mike Johnson who fought to ban abortion nationwide with no exceptions for rape, incest, or the life of the mother. The same Mike Johnson who has attacked the LGBTQ+ community at every turn of his career. And the same Mike Johnson pushed for legislation to slash trillions of dollars in funding from lifesaving programs like Social Security, Medicare, and Medicaid.

John, this might be the reality right now, but it doesn’t have to be our future. We can’t risk letting extreme Republicans like Mike Johnson, Marjorie Taylor Greene, and Matt Gaetz continue their attacks on our rights.
