Roe v. Wade is finally behind us… Now our work to empower women truly begins.” News to Lynn Fitch and her fellow anti-abortion extremists: Abortion bans do not “empower” us. Abortion bans strip people of their rights to control their own bodies, lives, and futures.

Anti-abortion, GOP extremists have upped the ante in their attacks on reproductive freedom at the state level, and we have to hold them accountable for their actions. In Mississippi, Dem AG candidate Greta Kemp Martin threw her hat into the ring because she wants to unseat the Attorney General responsible for the overturning of Roe. And in Kentucky, reproductive freedom champion and Dem AG candidate Col. Pam Stevenson is up against Mitch McConnell-backed candidate Russell Coleman who has been endorsed by major anti-abortion groups.
