What a year! I started running for the State Senate because I felt we need someone in Virginia to stand up for the Shenandoah Valley - our families, community, farms and businesses. I said, then, that I was a conservative farmer. That is what I still am. The Lord willing, that is what I intend to remain.

If all goes well next Tuesday, I will support Governor Youngkin’s common sense conservative policies that:

Stand up for agriculture and rural communities.

Restore discipline and respect to our schools.

Protect our pro-life values.

Pass term limits on the career politicians.

Keep dangerous criminals in prison.

Defend Second Amendment rights.

Return tax surpluses to working families.

Strengthen parental control of our children’s education including removing political agendas from the classroom.

I want to thank each and everyone of you for your support. I am blessed with friends and even more blessed to have made so many new friends. It has been great to receive the support of Governor Youngkin, Lieutenant Governor Winsome Sears, Attorney General Jason Miyares, Speaker of the House Todd Gilbert, Senator Mark Obenshain, and Delegate Bill Wiley among other conservative officials and organizations like the NRA and VCDL.

I want to thank my opponents in the primary and general election. I have learned a lot from each of you. This is hard to put yourself out there and we should all be appreciative of people stepping up to lead in our communities. Yes, there have been sharp elbows, but that is also part of the process.

I promise, with your vote, that every day I will do my very best for our community. I will stand up for our shared conservative values. I’ll put these dirty boots to work.
