We're sure this will come as no surprise to all of you who watched the never-ending attack ads against Summer last cycle but right now, the same Republican-funded Super PAC that spent over **$5 MILLION** trying to take her down is already starting to wage another relentless attack against our campaign.
We need all the help we can get as their nasty new TV ads hit the airwaves, spreading falsehoods and painting a distorted picture of our movement. This Super PAC is notorious for running ads loaded with blatant lies, designed specifically to spread disinformation and undermine the work of progressive women of color. It’s also the same PAC that funds Republicans like Ron DeSantis and Mitchell McConnell while endorsing 109 Republican members of Congress who voted to overturn President Biden's election.
They claim to be defenders of democracy then go and support the very politicians who seek to destroy it.
Their roster includes Speaker Mike Johnson, who outrageously compared a woman's reproductive freedom to the Holocaust, and Representative Jim Jordan of Ohio, who has endorsed antisemitic rhetoric and refused to cooperate with the committee investigating the January 6th attack on our Capitol.
We see figures like Tom Emmer, who spread the George Soros conspiracy, and Pete Sessions, who had alarming ties to 'Stop the Steal' organizers. And let’s not forget Representative Scott Perry, who parroted white nationalist conspiracies.
In fact, this lobbyist group endorsed every Republican nominee for speaker. Every single one.
Summer stepped into office not to spend her time warding off dark money attacks but to fight for progress and to tirelessly serve the people of Pennsylvania. Our movement is about creating a reflective, inclusive democracy. It's the work of years of grassroots effort to bring about real change to the people who too often get overlooked.
Yes, they have lots of money, and yes they are good at spreading misinformation, but the truth is we’ve beaten this Super PAC before and we can certainly do it again!
