Last week, Republicans elected MAGA-extremist Rep. Mike Johnson to be the next Speaker of the House.

Let's be perfectly clear about who the GOP have selected as their leader in the House of Representatives:

He's a fierce Trump ally who denied the results of the 2020 election, supported the January 6 insurrection and led the House GOP's effort to throw out millions of votes for President Biden.

He's strongly anti-LGBTQ+ rights, against marriage equality and supports a complete and total nationwide ban on abortion.

He's repeatedly dismissed the humanity, value and contributions of millions of Americans with disabilities AND women across the nation.

He supported a 22% budget cut to the VA, and voted against the PACT Act — critical legislation that helped expand care for Veterans exposed to toxic burn pits.

He's a climate change denier who voted against clean energy and protecting public health while taking more campaign cash from fossil fuel companies than any other industry.
This is just the tip of the iceberg, Jessica.

With a Republican Speaker like this, we have to redouble our efforts to push back against the far-right extremists threatening our democracy as well as our fundamental rights and freedoms.

That's why Tammy's doing everything she can to support her colleagues in tough races across the country in 2024, and it's also why we're asking:
