Right now, the Supreme Court is weighing critical questions about the First Amendment, medical care for transgender teens, and a pivotal case regarding racial gerrymandering.

John, it's been over a year since the Supreme Court struck down Roe v. Wade – stripping away reproductive freedom from millions of Americans.

In the time since, we've seen one disastrous decision after another. This ultraconservative majority – stacked with justices appointed by Donald Trump – has handed down rulings that attack LGBTQ+ rights, affirmative action, student loan forgiveness, and so much more.

This much is clear: The direction of the current Supreme Court is far from the will of the American people.

In this urgent moment, our mission to get more fierce Democratic women in office who will defend our fundamental rights and safeguard the future of our democracy is as important as ever. That’s why we launched our Gavel In training this year – to train jurists who want to serve in judgeships to run successful and strategic political campaigns. But it's going to take all of us fighting together, side by side.
