A gift from Native Daily Network.

Happy Indigenous Heritage Month, everyone.

On November 14, our dear friends at Native Daily Network (NDN) will release their film Ancestral Waters 2022 for online streaming. The award-winning documentary tells the story of the Puyallup Tribe’s 170-year-fight over their lands and waters, including against the Tacoma LNG fracked gas facility in the midst of unprecedented climate change. It is truly a spectacular and moving film, produced by NDN Board Chair Benita Moore and directed by NDN Executive Director Darren Moore.

In honor of Indigenous Heritage Month, NDN is gifting early access to the film to Breach and Breach’s supporters. You may stream it here.

A note from Benita on the timeliness of this release:

This release comes at a crucial time. Puget Sound Energy has recently requested another rate increase to fund the LNG plant, and GTN Xpress has just received FERC approval. The fight against dangerous fracked gas and other fossil fuel infrastructure has never been more urgent, making this a great starting point for anyone wanting to get involved.

NDN is a 501(c)(3) non-profit dedicated to elevating Indigenous voices and advancing grassroots environmental campaigns. If you’d like to say thank you for this offering and support their important work, including fighting back against the recent approval of the GTN Xpress fracked gas pipeline, consider making a donation to NDN here.

We hope you enjoy the film.
