John,
Last night, the House forced through a bill repealing a portion of the IRS funding that we fought for and won last year. Revoking this investment in the IRS is nothing more than a huge gift to rich and corporate tax cheats.
Rush a donation today to fight back against right-wing attempts to undermine the IRS and allow wealthy and corporate tax cheats to continue evading the taxes that they legally owe.
According to Americans for Tax Fairness research, more than a decade of cuts to the IRS caused audit rates on the wealthy to plummet between 2010 and 2020, to the point that low-income workers receiving the Earned Income Tax Credit were being audited at a higher rate than taxpayers earning over $1 million a year![1]
But, now we’re beginning to turn that around with the IRS already collecting $160 million in back taxes from millionaires this year as it audits 1,600 millionaires who owe at least $250,000 each in taxes.[2][3]
We’re fighting to defend funding for the IRS and making sure that these House-passed bills get no traction in the Senate.
Donate today to defend the IRS funding that we fought so hard to win, which is finally allowing the agency to audit millionaires and billion-dollar corporations.

John,
Today, in the first legislative business under new right-wing Speaker of the House Mike Johnson, the House voted to claw back billions of dollars in IRS funding, which is finally allowing the agency to crack down on wealthy and corporate tax cheats.
We need to fight back and make sure this attempt to protect wealthy millionaire donors from paying the taxes they owe gets zero traction in the Senate.
Rush a donation today to defend the IRS funding that we fought for and won last year and that is allowing the IRS to finally audit millionaire tax cheats.
Thanks to the recent investments, the IRS is already fulfilling its mandate to go after 1,600 millionaires who owe at least $250,000 each in taxes, and taking a closer look at corporations with assets averaging $10 billion.[1] And, we just got this update:
If Congress rescinds this historic investment in the IRS, it will serve as a massive handout to wealthy and corporate tax cheats who, combined, fail to pay billions of dollars in taxes they legally owe each year. That’s money that could be used to lower costs for working people on everything from healthcare to housing to heating and cooling assistance and more!
Donate today to fight back against right-wing attacks on IRS funding that is critical to creating an economy and a tax system that works for everyone, not just the wealthy few.
