Do you know where you're knocking tomorrow? You've had your fun during Halloweekend but now it's GOTV weekend - time to get to work. 

If you are not part of the Hampton Roads delegation for this weekend, I have a canvass for you in NOVA right outside Arlington. Tomorrow, Saturday, November 4th at 11am - we're headed out to HD-22 in Manassas for Travis Nembhard. HD-22 is one of the most competitive districts and could be the key to recapturing the House of Delegates. And what's more, we'll be joined by our very own Adele McClure. So you don't want to miss this canvass. Sign up right now. 

And on Sunday, while you're in between doors, be sure to stop by to ArlDems Fusion Festival at Innovation Elementary School - 2300 Key Blvd.

AYD Canvass: Travis Nembhard HD-22

We're heading over to Manassas with Adele McClure for Travis Nembhard this Saturday, 11/4. We’ll meet up at 11am to carpool out by 11:10am in order to arrive in Manassas for the 12pm canvass launch. We should arrive back in Arlington around 3-4pm. Meet-up location will be provided upon sign up via email, so please keep an eye on your inbox!

Sign up to canvass below and let us know if you are able to drive others! Please sign up by Friday, November 3rd at 5pm.

Please be prepared to walk around for a while (think: athletic clothing, tennis shoes, sunglasses, baseball cap/visor), and keep an eye on the forecast. We recommend while canvassing that you wear sunscreen, bring water and snacks, and come with a fully charged phone as we will be using a mobile app to canvass.

AYD Executive Board Elections

Join us for AYD Executive Board Elections on Thursday, November 16th! The meeting will begin at 6:30pm and location will be announced soon.

All candidates must submit their application by Thursday, November 9th at 11:59 PM and must be dues-paying members. You can check your membership status with AYD Membership Director Daniel Gray at [email protected]. Apply here for elected positions.

If you're interested in an appointed position, the deadline to apply is Sunday, November 19th at 11:59pm.
