We wanted to give your inbox a breather for a couple days, but I felt it was important to reach out this morning and express my gratitude to you for being a part of this team.

It was not an easy October. Not for our movement, not for those who we stand with in the fight for justice across the globe.

Through all of it, I have been heartened to see endless messages of support and shows of solidarity from people nationwide, which have strengthened my resolve to work for a more equitable, just, and peaceful world.

Now, I know our team reached out a lot over the past week, mostly through emails like this one.

That's why I also wanted to share that thanks to the incredible support of lots and lots of people like you, we reached our grassroots fundraising goals for the month.

I understand that these goals are not the most important thing in the world. But it is important that we reach them, and it's especially important that we do it together.

So long as we do that, we can build the kind of campaign required to take on the right wing and their super PACs, win, and continue our fight.
