We can't let Republicans win.

Dear Brooklynites,

Maybe you've seen the news: the Brooklyn Democratic Party is refusing to help Democrats ([link removed]) in Southern Brooklyn.

Instead, county party leadership is using its resources to undermine Council Member Justin Brannan in a competitive race against an anti-abortion () Republican. It's just the latest in a long string of bad faith, destructive decisions by our local party's leadership, who have done nothing ([link removed]) to fight the Republican red wave in our borough.

That means it's up to us to ensure Justin wins this competitive race. Democrats have been losing ground in Southern Brooklyn. With hard work, we can fight back. But we need your help.

Join BYD, Borough President Antonio Reynoso, the NYU Democrats, the Lambda Independent Democrats and other friends in Bay Ridge this Saturday to get out the vote!

With enough volunteers, we can help Justin—who has brought new schools, upgraded parks and new transportation options ([link removed]) to his district—continues giving Southern Brooklyn the leadership it deserves.

We're down to the wire; Election Day is next week ([link removed]) . If you're passionate about fighting for a better Brooklyn, now's the time to get involved!

In solidarity,
The Brooklyn Young Democrats
