We are doing wonderful things, together. Not just winning elections — although we had a great result on Tuesday, to be sure! But we are building a community, and a foundation for progressive political change.

Thank you for being a part of it. Thank you for contributing to this work to provide real, effective representation to the 800,000 and more people who live in the Texas 10th. 

Thank you for helping to raise the funds, for meeting the voters, and for sharing the message of this campaign.

My family is tremendously appreciative of your support for my candidacy and our broader goals. 

Thanks to you, on Election Day, we won over 34,000 votes—over 44% of the electorate—leading the race into a runoff even though our two opponents outspent us by over $2 million. 

And thanks to you, we’ve accomplished some very good things along the way: from raising awareness of environmental issues like the Fayette Coal Plant, to filing a lawsuit to protect the voting rights of college students across Texas, to registering hundreds of new voters and driving record turnout across the Texas 10th.

The work is not done, of course, but let’s appreciate all of the good so far. Thank you for being a part of it!
