The Planet Circus OMG! Stunts show is packed full of international artists who create a jaw-dropping, heart-stopping performance.
The skills of world-class circus artists collide with the exhilarating and dangerous world of freestyle motocross stunts, and of course the big red OMG monster truck that will enter the stage in a stunt that has to be seen to be believed!
This show is suitable for all the family and has something for everyone. Tickets start from just £8 (plus booking fee).
Skating in a Winter Wonderland
Tue 7 November - Sun 31 December Old Market Square
Winter Wonderland opens at Old Market Square next week, when it will be just 48 days until the big day.
Festive fun seekers can skate around the square on the Sky Skate ice path or enjoy the ground level ice rink. The Sur La Piste and Altitude ski chalet bars will be returning, as well as the themed Ice Bar kept at a chilling -10 degrees.
You can also start your Christmas shopping with a range of market stalls selling hand-made gifts, delicious food and hot toddys, or get a twinkling view of the city on the observation wheel.
To avoid disappointment and to skip queues on the day, it's recommended to book in advance for ice skating, bar experiences and observation wheel fast track access. Nottingham city residents can also receive a 10% discount on super off-peak and off-peak skating bookings.
Armistice Day & Remembrance Sunday
Armistice Day Sat 11 November Old Market Square
To mark Armistice Day, a short Service of Remembrance will take place on the steps of the Council House. Commencing at 10.55am with the two-minute silence at 11am, there will be a reading and prayer by the Lord Mayor’s Chaplain, Reverend Jo Tatum, and the Last Post will be played on the bugle by a student from Nottingham High School. Members of the public are welcome to attend.
Remembrance Sunday Sun 12 November Victoria Embankment
The traditional Remembrance Service takes place at the city's war memorial at Victoria Embankment. The ceremony will begin at 10.45am and include the two-minute silence and wreath laying. The Nottinghamshire Band of The Royal Engineers, accompanied by the Nottingham Hospitals Choir, will provide music for the service. People wishing to pay their respects and observe the ceremony are very welcome.
