American Media Ignores Hamas’ Vow to Annihilate Israel
HotAir: A week has passed since Canary Mission released its detailed allegations that Tlaib employed three Hamas supporters in her congressional campaign and had connections to Hamas fundraisers as well. Not one major American news outlet has yet to delve into that report, not even to debunk it. Not. One. Even while Tlaib has a seat in Congress and Hamas holds a dozen or more kidnapped Americans as hostages, American media has demonstrated zero interest in whether Hamas has potentially penetrated Congress. Contrast that with the media’s two-year obsession with “Russia collusion” on far less evidence. So perhaps we should not be surprised when the same media, which routinely highlights demands for Israel to stop fighting Hamas, overlooks what Hamas has to say about fighting Israel. Hamas spokesman Ghazi Hamad appeared on Lebanon’s LBC TV nine days ago to declare that Hamas would never stop its massacres, promising to repeat the atrocities of 10/7 until Israel was annihilated ( HotAir). Ed Morrissey: How did American media outlets cover this? With the exception of a single mention by NBC News, they ignored Hamad’s declaration entirely. Neither the New York Times nor the Washington Post made a single mention of it. The same is true of CNN, ABC and CBS ( Townhall Review). RNC Research: Democrat Senator Dick Durbin calls for a “ceasefire” in Israel — the day after a spokesman for Hamas said they will commit terrorist attacks “again and again” until Israel is annihilated ( X).

Hamas Explains Their Version of Ceasefire
Wall Street Journal: Hamas has two messages for two different audiences. To the international community, it pleads for a cease-fire on humanitarian grounds. To the Arab world, it pledges to repeat its Oct. 7 attacks and sacrifice as many Palestinians as it takes to destroy Israel. That was the message of Ghazi Hamad, a member of the Hamas Politburo, in an Oct. 24 interview on Lebanese television. “We must teach Israel a lesson,” he says, “and we will do this again and again. The Al Aqsa Flood”—the name Hamas gave its Oct. 7 operation to slaughter defenseless Israelis—“is just the first time, and there will be a second, a third, a fourth,” he says, as translated by the Middle East Media Research Institute. That’s what a cease-fire means to Hamas: a chance to repeat Oct. 7 another day. The similar idea of a “humanitarian pause,” gaining steam on the Western left, is to Hamas merely an opportunity to reload. There is nothing humane about pressuring Israel to leave a genocidal enemy in power on its border. Hamas isn’t ashamed to announce its intent to sacrifice Gazans to kill Jews—at least to receptive audiences ( Wall Street Journal). Times of Israel: Around 80 percent of people in Lebanon support Hamas’s October 7 onslaught in southern Israel, dubbed Operation Al-Aqsa Flood by the terror group, according to a new poll published by a Lebanese newspaper ( Times of Israel).

Hamas Protestors in London Planning "Million Man March" on Remembrance Day
Daily Mail: Pro-Palestine activists are set to march through the streets of London at the same time the Festival of Remembrance is being held at the Royal Albert Hall next week. Protesters have descended on the capital in support of Palestine over the past three Saturdays – and this is set to continue on November 11 which is Remembrance Day. The main Remembrance Day events are taking place on the Sunday, including a parade at the Cenotaph and a service at Westminster Abbey, but the Festival of Remembrance will see two performances at the Royal Albert Hall at 2pm and 7pm on Saturday ( Daily Mail). Douglas Murray: UK Hamas supporters are now planning a “million man march” on Remembrance Day. They plan to defame our war-dead and desecrate the Cenotaph itself. This is the tipping point. If such a march goes ahead then the people of Britain must come out and stop these barbarians ( X).

Israel’s Knesset Members Watch Video Detailing Horrors of October 7 Attack Causing Most Break Down in Tears
Times of Israel: A compilation of raw footage documenting Hamas’s grisly October 7 rampage through the western Negev was screened Wednesday for Knesset members. The 43-minute-long video was produced by the IDF Spokesperson’s Office and shows uncensored, difficult-to-watch videos, many taken from terrorists’ bodycams. After a request from Knesset Speaker Amir Ohana to the military, lawmakers were granted permission to hold a closed-door screening of the footage where recording and cellphones were not allowed. Ohana, speaking before the screening, said that he had arranged the event so that Israeli lawmakers would “know who and what we are facing,” and so that “we will all know how much our path in this war against this evil is justified,” according to sources familiar with the event ( Times of Israel). All Israel News: Most Knesset members left before the end of the video screening but those who remained for the entire screening left the hall crying and shaking ( All Israel News).

Congress Approves $14.5 Billion Aid Package for Israel
Associated Press: The House approved a nearly $14.5 billion military aid package Thursday for Israel, a muscular U.S. response to the war with Hamas but also a partisan approach by new Speaker Mike Johnson that poses a direct challenge to Democrats and President Joe Biden. In a departure from norms, Johnson’s package required that the emergency aid be offset with cuts in government spending elsewhere ( Associated Press). Reporter Chad Pergram: House approves bill to provide $14.3 billion in emergency aid to Israel. 12 Democrats voted yes. Two Republicans voted no. Reps. Thomas Massie (R-KY) and Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA) were GOP noes ( X).

GOP Senate Judiciary Committee Reveals Democrats’ Attempt to Delegitimize, Remake the Supreme Court
Katie Pavlich: Republicans on the Senate Judiciary Committee further exposed a scheme by Democrats to remake the Supreme Court during a hearing on Capitol Hill Thursday. Republicans highlighted relentless attacks on the conservative justices by Democratic Senators and leftist activists, showing new “ethics reform” is really an underhanded way for liberals to control decision making ( Townhall). Tom Cotton: Whether it’s “ethics reforms” or subpoenas, Democrats are trying to undermine and delegitimize the Supreme Court—just because they don’t like its rulings ( X). Chuck Grassley: Attn Judiciary Cmte Dems: The Supreme Court is an independent branch of government NOT a political punching bag ( X).

41 Percent of Americans Believe the U.S. is Doing Too Much to Help Ukraine
Gallup: As the harsh winter months approach in Ukraine, Americans’ views on the war there have shifted, with a plurality now saying the U.S. is doing too much to help Ukraine. Forty-one percent of Americans overall say the U.S. is doing too much, which has risen from 24% in August 2022 ( Gallup). Axios: The findings come as newly-established Speaker Mike Johnson (R-La.) plans to bring a vote this week on aid for Israel — decoupling it from Ukraine aid and border funds ( Axios). If Putin wins, Iran will undoubtedly get stronger. Albert Mohler: The new axis of evil includes Russia, China, Iran, and North Korea. All four nations pose a direct threat to the West. Each is working to subvert the world order. All four are deeply rooted in history and driven by an aggressive ideology ( WNG).

Sen. Roger Marshall (R-KS) Looks to Deliver Justice for Families Who Have Been Victims of Biden’s Open Border
Townhall: On Thursday, Sen. Roger Marshall (R-KS) introduced legislation which aims to provide justice to those and their families who have been the victims of crimes committed by illegal immigrants. Known as the Justice for Angel Families Act, it looks to restore the Trump-era Victims of Immigration Crime Engagement (VOICE) Office, which specifically tracked crimes committed by illegal immigrants. It was dismantled by the Biden administration, however. The legislation also extends support from the federal government through the Crime Victims Fund to American families if a family member is murdered by an illegal immigrant. Marshall said in a statement “As we continue to fight for this administration to secure our nation’s borders, there has been irreversible damage and pain that Angel Families have to live with for the rest of their lives. These families are the true victims of this Administration’s failures, and as I fight for justice and restoring law and order, they must get the help and support they need” ( Townhall).
