Ever since the overturning of Roe v. Wade, abortion rights have been under attack across the country. In Ohio, millions of dollars from anti-choice forces have been placed into the hands of Republicans, opening the floodgates for their misinformation tactics and anti-abortion rhetoric that is plaguing our election. And one too many voters are falling for their trap.
Passing Issue 1 and defending the rights of Ohioans is non-negotiable. Ohioans should be able to make these deeply personal decisions without government interference. Scratch that – every person in our country should be able to make these deeply personal decisions without government interference. So let’s lead the country in protecting our reproductive freedoms and pass Issue 1 next week. If we win, we can pave the way for other states fighting this battle.
