John-

As the Kentucky Gubernatorial race comes down the home stretch, turning out young voters will be a key to success to re-electing Governor Andy Beshear and Lieutenant Governor Jacqueline Coleman and sending them help in Frankfort with our strong Democratic slate!

The Kentucky Young Democrats know the importance of the youth vote and are gearing up to help increase the turnout amongst our friends and peers! In 2019, when Governor Beshear won by a little over 5000 votes, the young voters turned out at nearly double the rate that they did in 2015 (~27.4% compared to ~14.6%)!

Gov. Andy Beshear’s fight to create a Kentucky for all is on our shoulders! This race will decide the future of workers’ rights, reproductive rights, and the future of public education in Kentucky. The only way we can win is by knocking on hundreds of thousands of doors in the final stretch - and we need all hands on deck to do it!

Become a Late Help Volunteer

Late help volunteers will help us knock doors to reach the voters we need to persuade and mobilize in this final stretch. You’ll be assigned to an office each day, and have the chance to work with some of the best organizers from around the country so that Democrats can win this race by a field margin. They are happy to look into housing in-state for you or your group but can’t guarantee they will have enough housing for everyone. If you have an out of state group that is only able to make phone calls, Kentucky Democrats also welcome your help.
