It’s hard to believe that it has been over two years since the Stoneman Douglas High School shooting that took the lives of 17 young people. It’s also been just over eight months since the El Paso shooting in which a white supremacist — inspired by President Trump's hateful and racist rhetoric — took 22 lives and injured 24 others. This tragedy took place just miles outside TX-23. We need to keep the pressure on our leaders to take action and address gun violence. That’s why I’m asking 10,000 people to sign my petition to let Congress know that we will never stop fighting to end gun violence and protect the people of this country. SIGN: End Gun Violence We lose people every day to senseless gun violence, and folks in Congress remain unwilling to take action that could save lives. It's unacceptable, and it's cowardly. This is personal for us in South and West Texas. The inaction in Washington around gun violence is insulting to those who have needlessly lost so much. Add your name to demand action NOW.
