I’ve been truly blown away by the enthusiasm and generosity of this grassroots team. Together, we’ve disbursed over $300,000 to Virginia Democrats in battleground races – helping to balance out massive spending from Gov. Youngkin.

As the clock winds down, I want to share more about our last-minute strategy to elect a Democratic majority and keep Virginia out of the hands of the GOP.

Defend Democracy

It’s our responsibility to ensure that democracy endures in the Commonwealth. That’s why I founded Defend Democracy PAC – to stop Republicans from subverting democracy for political gain.

Our mission from the beginning has been to elect responsible leaders who will stand up for the truth, expand voting access, and encourage greater participation in our democracy.

Moreover, Defend Democracy PAC is making sure voters get the accurate information and support they need to participate in this all-important election.

Protect Freedom & Choice in Virginia

It’s difficult to convey the severity of the threat to abortion rights in Virginia if Democrats fall short on Tuesday. Put simply, Gov. Youngkin could have the majorities he needs to ban abortion by January.

And safe, legal abortion isn’t the only freedom on the chopping block. At the first opportunity, Republicans will enact a host of voter suppression laws to restrict participation in our democracy to a select few, chip away at the rights of workers to organize, and dismantle our public education system.

Protecting freedom starts with defending our slim State Senate majority. If we can do that and flip the House of Delegates on Tuesday, we’ll be in the best possible position to take on Gov. Youngkin.
