John,

Abortion is on the ballot next week in Virginia.

Republican Governor Glenn Youngkin tried — and failed — to ban abortion after 15 weeks in the state, but couldn’t get it through a Democratic-controlled Senate. Now, he’s vowed to try again if Republicans take back the state legislature in just a few weeks.

Republicans are going all out to win in Virginia, even initiating a cyber attack against Susanna Gibson meant to shame and humiliate her by publicizing intimate details of her private life — not at all dissimilar from what happened to Katie.

The 2023 elections promise to be a bellwether for 2024, and show whether reproductive rights still hold the political weight needed to flip elections for Democrats. We’re hoping to prove to Republicans and the rest of the country that we have what it takes to win big next year. That’s why we’re asking:

Can you pitch in any amount today to help us prove abortion rights are still a winning issue in 2023, 2024 and beyond?
