It’s been an exhausting month, John.

While Republicans finally elected their House Speaker, I’m expecting it’s going to be a tall order for the ultra-conservative and MAGA-aligned Mike Johnson and his caucus to be reasonable and work with Democrats. They’re already talking about more spending cuts and slashing programs Americans rely on.

But I am not deterred, John. In fact, because of you, I am filled with a renewed sense of hope and determination. I am delighted to let you know this team delivered and we hit our end-of-month to take on the GOP chaos caucus and retake our majority next November. Thank you a million times over.

Despite the fear-mongering and cynicism of the Republican Party, politics doesn’t have to be this way. Your continued, ongoing support shows me you agree.

Together, we will keep fighting and persevering to take back our House majority and get to work to solve the urgent, existential crises facing our nation: Gun violence, climate change, attacks on reproductive freedoms, and so much more.
