Curbside recycling resumes 11/27/23!   City of Auburn, Maine. Upcoming Events   NEWS FROM AUBURN, MAINE   CURBSIDE RECYCLING RESUMES 11/27! The news you have been waiting for...  CURBSIDE RECYCLING SERVICE IN AUBURN WILL RESUME ON MONDAY, NOVEMBER 27!! ♻️ What you need to know: Recycling will be collected EVERY OTHER WEEK on the same day as your trash. There will be "A" & "B" weeks depending on your address! Details on how to determine if you are "A" or "B" will be available on Monday, November 6. Stay tuned. Recycling will be "single-sort," meaning approved materials can all go into the same bin. Auburn will be recycling ONLY the following: #1, #2 & #5 plastics, clean cardboard (flatten all boxes), and clean mixed paper. Please do NOT put cans, metal, or glass in your bins. They go in with your household trash. The city does not provide recycling bins. Any CLEARLY MARKED bin, tote, or container can be used. If you download the app prior to 11/20, your address will not show up.
