Harnessing Tailwinds on State and Local Land-Use Reform: A Bipartisan Playbook ([link removed])
Thursday, December 14, 2023
11:00 am to 2:00 pm
AEI Auditorium
1789 Massachusetts Avenue NW
Washington, DC 20036
Please join the Progressive Policy Institute (PPI) and the American Enterprise Institute (AEI) for a conference on how to create a consensus on a bipartisan housing playbook to improve housing affordability and land-use reform that can be deployed across cities and states, and across party lines.
As concerns about housing affordability are affecting more and more Americans across the country, market-oriented and liberal researchers have found common ground on the need for land-use reform.
Join housing experts, practitioners, and legislators from across the political spectrum to discuss recent success stories on housing reforms at the state and local level and how others can capitalize on them to fix America's housing shortage. The event will feature Richard Kahlenberg, Director of Housing, Progressive Policy Institute, and Edward J. Pinto, Codirector, AEI Housing Center, and will have a keynote address from Montana Governor Greg Gianforte. The full schedule and speaker lineup is below.
