Dear Friend,
I hope you saw my message earlier today. I'm following up so soon for one simple reason: The chance to make 3X the impact with one gift is not your everyday opportunity. I truly hope you will make the most of this uncommon 3X Matching Gift Challenge by joining the fight today.
This match challenge is made possible by The Konar Family, who has generously pledged a $300,000 gift in memory of William and Sheila Konar to advance Alzheimer's research. Thanks to them, your gift by the December 31 deadline can be triple-matched to support the fight against this disease, up to a total of $300,000.
To kick off the holiday season, I hope you will make a first-time gift to our 3X Matching Gift Challenge. Your generosity can go three times as far to help fund promising research and provide care and support to the over 6 million Americans currently living with Alzheimer's, as well as the more than 11 million family members and friends providing their unpaid care — often around the clock.
This month is National Family Caregivers Month — a time to honor and recognize those who are currently providing care and those who have cared for someone they have lost. Caregiving requires sacrifice — and it certainly doesn't pause for the holiday season.
While this special season can be a time for joy and relaxation with family, it can also be difficult — especially for families impacted by Alzheimer's or another dementia. When cherished traditions have to change because of a loved one's health, the sense of loss can be painful and profound.
Right now, we have an incredible opportunity to bring hope to those affected by Alzheimer's and all other dementia as we go into the holiday season with our 3X Matching Gift Challenge.
Can we count on you to join the fight against Alzheimer's with a gift that can make 3X the impact today? |

By making your first gift in the fight against Alzheimer's to our limited-time $300,000 3X Matching Gift Challenge, you will help further our mission to lead the way to end Alzheimer's and all other dementia — by accelerating global research, driving risk reduction and early detection, and maximizing quality care and support.
Thank you in advance for your care and compassion this holiday season. I look forward to everything we can achieve together in the fight against Alzheimer's in the year to come.
In shared commitment,
Donna McCullough
Chief Mission and Field Operations Officer
P.S. I wouldn't reach out again unless it were urgent. Please don't wait to join the fight against Alzheimer's with a holiday gift that can go 3X as far to help provide support for caregivers and those affected and advance critical research all year long. Thank you, and warmest holiday wishes to you and yours.
