Dear Reader,

Remember when the great and the good believed that religion could be excised from the public square?

Whether they admit it or not, the strong gods of family, nation, and religion are back. The open society of the postwar consensus has failed.

Where does this leave us?

On Friday, November 10, I will sit down with Southern Seminary President Albert Mohler to discuss “The Future of the Religious Right” at Chicago’s Athenaeum Center for Thought and Culture.

So, the strong gods are here to stay. Religion has announced its return to the public square. This is good, right?

These shifting winds present both a challenge and an opportunity. The task before religious believers like you and me is to ensure that religious truth is deployed in prudent ways toward proper ends.

On November 10, Mohler and I will chart a path forward for those on the religious right to accomplish precisely this.

Will you join us?
