Come party with us on Nov. 14!

Dear Friend,

Howdy folks! I’m Eduarda Serafim, the Solidarity Organizer at DC Jobs with Justice. As you know, the I’ll Be There Awards ceremony on November 14 is quickly approaching, and I could not be more excited! Ever since I joined the DC JWJ team in June, I've had the privilege of supporting our coalition partners by standing in solidarity with workers on strike, at rallies, and in hearings.

I am THRILLED for my first experience at this year's awards! Over the last four months, I have proudly watched the DC JWJ team impact the lives of countless DC residents through conducting trainings, providing resources, and overall supporting workers in their time of need. At DC JWJ, our goal is to listen to the needs of our community first! We strive to have all our organizing work be guided by real workers and their experiences.

The I'll Be There Awards will be a great time to honor our community, as we would be nowhere without them. I hope you will all join us in celebrating this year's honorees, and I hope you remember to take a moment to be grateful to yourselves! Thank you for always showing up for workers in DC, your solidarity means the world to us.

Looking forward to being in community with you on November 14th!
