Remember Tommy Tuberville?

Last night, Tommy Tuberville continued his months-long harmful and dangerous political stunt of blocking ALL military nominations and promotions from advancing in the Senate.

This is harming our troops, helping our adversaries, and it’s all being done for political gain. Let me be clear: this is just another step in the GOP’s ongoing efforts to control women’s bodies as Tuberville protests the Pentagon’s policy on reproductive health care.

It’s unacceptable. Senator Tuberville may believe that stopping women servicemembers from controlling their own bodies is worth risking our national security and the well-being of our military families. But he is sorely mistaken.

That’s why I’m speaking out against Senator Tuberville's dangerous, mistaken charade along with my Senate colleagues on both sides of the aisle and calling on him to end his blockade on military nominations and promotions — and I’m counting on you to join me.
