People For the American Way

Supporter,

We have just 5 days left to turn out every last progressive vote in Virginia and the stakes in next week’s election couldn’t be higher.

It’ll be a showdown between progressive Democrats and MAGA Republicans – with Republicans in the state eager to impose their extreme and unpopular agenda.

One of the top priorities on the GOP agenda? Passing a statewide abortion ban in the wake of Roe being overturned.

Help us stop these far-right extremists from attacking reproductive freedom by chipping in with a donation today in the final stretch before next week’s election. >>

At present, Virginia stands as the last state in the South without a post-Roe ban on abortion. However, a Republican majority in the legislature, led by Governor Glenn Youngkin, would move quickly to pass the ban despite the fact that it’s deeply unpopular to a majority of Virginians – stripping away the last remaining place in the South to access abortion care without significant hardship.

We urgently need your support to ensure that candidates who stand for democracy and reproductive freedom are elected in Virginia. Just this week we launched an ad campaign throughout the state – advertising on TV, radio, and online – to help mobilize voters in key districts, but we need your support to keep the ads on the air and prevent this critical battleground state from coming under total Republican control.

Please rush a contribution today and it will be put to work immediately to help power our efforts to mobilize voters throughout the state. >>

Republican and Democratic campaigns across the country are keeping a watchful eye on the results of Virginia’s election, as it often sets the tone and foreshadows the likely outcome for presidential election cycles. The stakes are high not only for Virginians, but the entire nation.

Thanks for your support,
