Last weekend I was on Pod Save America, and I wanted to take a moment to share with you what I said. I understand if you can’t read until the end, but before you go: I’m running in Ohio’s only toss-up race, and I won’t be able to win next November without your support. I sat down with Pod Save America to talk about the stakes of Tuesday’s election. To put it simply, John: We can’t afford to lose.

Radical Republicans in Ohio are trying to mislead voters about Issue 1, but I’m here to tell you it’s very simple. Issue 1 will codify in our state’s constitution the right for women to access abortion services in Ohio.

There’s something else about Issue 1 I’ve been talking about with folks on the ground, and that’s freedom. At the end of the day, Issue 1 is about the freedom to choose our own destiny.

Whether I’m in Ohio knocking on doors to talk to voters about Issue 1, or in DC pushing back against the wave of MAGA extremism taking over the People’s House – I promise I will always be fighting for your freedom to choose.

But here’s the harsh reality: No matter what happens next week, those same Radical Republicans that want to strip away our rights are going to set their sights on my seat. I am never going to stop fighting for Northeast Ohio, no matter who I’m up against.
