Friends, there’s less than a week to go before the eyes of the nation turn to Virginia for our state’s critical elections.
Like you, I’m fighting as hard as I can to help Democrats preserve and expand our majority in the VA Senate and to take back the majority in the VA House of Delegates.
Today, I want to talk to you about two key races in a part of Virginia that doesn’t get enough attention: -
Trish White-Boyd is running for State Senate in District 4, the area that serves Roanoke. Trish has deep roots in her community, where she serves on the Roanoke City Council, and has a proven track record of success in both the private and public sectors. She’s been named a Battleground Candidate by the Senate Caucus, and her district is one of the most competitive in Virginia.
-
Lily Franklin is running for VA House of Delegates in District 41, the area serving Blacksburg. Like Trish, Lily’s Virginia roots go deep, and she’s spent the better part of the last seven years fighting as a staffer in the VA House of Delegates for clean drinking water and local food and farming infrastructure.
We’re coming down to the wire, so I’m personally asking you to pitch in now to help Trish and Lily win next week: |
