Beginning today, we are removing the application restriction limiting the Instructor Licensing Program to the US and Canada.

That means, no matter what country you are located in,

if you are interested (and qualified) to teach

STOP THE BLEED®, you can make an application.

Since we launched the NEW STOP THE BLEED® Instructor Licensing Program in early September 2023, we’ve seen tremendous interest and have gotten a lot of positive feedback. When we launched, applications were limited to individuals in the United States and Canada.

We knew there would be interest from people in other countries, since the US Department of Defense has licensed organizations in over 140 countries, but frankly, we didn’t expect the amount of interest we have seen these past eight weeks. We had planned to expand the program in early 2024 to be able to offer it to anyone from anywhere but we’re excited to have moved those plans up!

“Serving as a STOP THE BLEED Ambassador would be a great

honor. In my professional career,

I served in roles such as a Police Officer, Emergency Manager, Protective Security Officer, Occupational Health and Safety Manager, and a Lifeguard.

In all the above mentioned roles, I have had to work in a community where emergencies happen unexpectedly. Some emergencies end with someone bleeding... Training and being an Ambassador would help with response time, educating the whole community, and improving my agency's safety culture, which is why I am passionate about this opportunity.”
