SIGN TO HELP SAVE BEES: Tell the EPA to regulate seeds treated with toxic pesticides that can kill pollinators! >> Add your name now!

Wild bees are being pushed toward extinction, Friend. And last year, 48% of honeybee colonies were decimated, and neonic pesticides are a major contributor. If we don’t address this problem, pollinators, ecosystems, and the food system we rely on are all at risk.

But the EPA doesn’t regulate seeds treated with neonic pesticides as they do other pesticides. Millions of acres are planted with neonic-coated seeds despite the devastating impacts to bees. Friend, will you demand the EPA regulate seeds treated with toxic pesticides to help protect bees and other pollinators?

Here’s just a taste of the “insect apocalypse” that many scientists are warning about: the American bumblebee population has CRASHED by 89%, and the Western bumblebee by 93% over the past two decades. In the meantime, neonic pesticides have been making agriculture increasingly TOXIC to pollinators – nearly 50x over the past three decades.

People are impacted by neonic-treated seeds, too. Most of the seed coating remains in the soil where it can be washed off into drinking water sources. Exposure to neonics has been linked to birth defects of the heart and brain as well as hormone disruption. We need 5,271 more signatures by 11:59pm tonight to hit our goal. Tell the EPA to help protect bees from toxic pesticides now!
