This Veterans Day, many soldiers will be left out in the cold. Because most homeless shelters don’t allow pets, unhoused veterans will often choose to brave the streets rather than abandon their furry friends. 💔

You can help a veteran and their pet through Greater Good Charities! In honor of Veterans Day, they’re distributing backpacks filled with basic survival supplies, including blankets, clothing, reusable water bottles, basic hygiene products, pet food and treats, toys, slip leads, and food/water dishes.
