"We just want to be queer and happy."

Dear John

Last month, the It Gets Better Project brought ten Youth Voices ambassadors from across the country to Los Angeles for our second annual Youth Summit. They laughed, learned, and bonded over lived experiences— but most importantly, they reminded us that in the face of all the political noise, they just want to be kids.

"We're just kids too, you know. We wanna make an impact on the world, we want to live our lives — we want to be queer and be happy." - Akiko, 17

And trust me — these kids were INCREDIBLY happy sharing space with other queer youth. Just watch — the joy is contagious. [[link removed]] Then stick around and see more of what we've been up to at It Gets Better.

Thanks for continuing to help us make it better. Your generous support makes all of this possible [[link removed]]
