When I was 15, I testified in front of the city council because I was exhausted, scared, and mad after yet another shooting in my neighborhood.
That experience, my first foray into “politics”, set me on a path I never could have imagined.
Less than two decades later, I’m the youngest lieutenant governor in the country, and instead of having to beg elected officials to take action on gun violence, I’m taking action myself.
Unfortunately, this made me a target for the gun lobby. Can you split a $25 donation between my campaign and the DLGA to help me fight back? >>

In Pennsylvania, I just completed a statewide Safer Communities Tour where we focused on not just the short-term solutions like banning assault weapons and background checks, but the root causes of violence, like poverty and a lack of quality education and opportunity in our communities.
Now, I’m taking my advocacy nationwide as the chair of the DLGA’s Gun Violence Prevention Coalition.
As you know, we’re up against some powerful forces. The gun industry rakes in $9 BILLION a year and they pour that money back into opposing candidates like me. But our grassroots movement won’t be stopped. Can you rush $25 today to help me and the DLGA elect MORE Democrats who will stand up to the gun lobby?
