While many people are focusing on Israeli intelligence failures that helped lead to the massacre of 1400 Israeli Jews and the kidnapping of over 200 hostages by Hamas and Palestinian Islamic Jihad terrorists, Iranian-funded and enabled terror proxies have been preparing and planning their invasion of Israel for quite some time, all while the U.S. and international community have empowered the Islamic Republic’s brazen aggression and disregard for humanitarian norms. Iran’s involvement in this war cannot be ignored much as the Biden administration would like to pretend it played no part. The U.S.’s policy of appeasement also cannot be ignored beginning with the early days of the Obama administration through the current term of the Biden administration leading to the conclusion that the U.S. too bears some responsibility for the atrocities committed against Israel’s citizens. Join us for an in-depth conversation with the always brilliant and insightful Caroline Glick to discuss U.S. policy
failures in the lead-up to the October 7th atrocities and current policy failures that are already playing out as the State of Israel fights for its life.

About the Speaker: Caroline B. Glick is senior contributing editor at JNS and a senior columnist at JNS and Newsweek. She is also a diplomatic commentator at Israel’s Channel 14. Glick also serves as senior fellow for Middle Eastern Affairs at the Center for Security Policy in Washington, DC and a lecturer at Israel’s College of Statecraft in Jerusalem. Glick is the author of The Israeli Solution: A One State Plan for Peace in the Middle East and Shackled Warrior: Israel and the Global Jihad. A widely sought-after lecturer, Glick has briefed policymakers from Washington to Canberra, military commanders in Israel and the U.S. and general audiences worldwide. She has received multiple awards for her journalism. As a captain in the IDF from 1994-1996, Glick was a core member of Israel’s negotiating team with the PLO and served as assistant foreign policy advisor to Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu from 1997-1998. She is the author of The Israeli Solution: A One-State Plan for Peace in the
Middle East, and Shackled Warrior: Israel and the Global Jihad. Glick lives in Efrat with her husband Shimon Suissa and their sons Yoav and Shilo.
