We’ve got a big planning session coming up on Thursday next week, and as a key member of the team, I want you to know where we stand.

So I’ll fill you in:

1. We’ve been fighting hard in Parliament, introducing important bills and standing up for Canadians.
2. And Jagmeet and our team have been connecting with people in communities across Canada, and we’re still feeling the energy wherever we go!
3. But... we’re facing a big challenge. Despite ending 2019 strong, January and February are the slowest months for fundraising and we’re falling behind.

Jagmeet and the team are working hard for things that make a real difference – like our bill to bring in universal pharmacare. But facts are facts: it takes money to get our message out and make sure people know we’re fighting for them.

We can’t afford to miss our targets, which is why we’re setting an ambitious goal to raise $50K in the next 5 days. Can you chip in right now to help?

The Liberals and Conservatives might be able to depend on their rich friends, but we rely on donors like you – regular people chipping in what they can.

At our planning meeting next Thursday, we’re going to make decisions about how we can best leverage the hard work that Jagmeet and the team are doing in Parliament. When folks at that table ask me if we’ll have enough money to get our message out between now and the end of the spring session, I want to be able to say yes.

I can only do that if we reach our target by midnight on Wednesday and raise $50,000 over the next 5 days.
