On Monday, I testified in the Colorado trial that will determine whether Trump is eligible to be on the state’s 2024 ballot under the 14th Amendment’s “insurrection” clause. If found guilty, he would be ineligible to run for president in the state.

Look, I’ve spent every day since January 6 holding Donald Trump and his MAGA minions accountable for the attack on our nation’s capitol, and you’d better believe I’m going to see this fight through.

But this pursuit of justice puts a giant target on my back. We’ve already seen Republicans retaliate against me by ousting me from the Intelligence Committee earlier this year, so I’m not exaggerating when I say I need to be ready for anything they throw my way.
