America must give Israel the time, resources, and diplomatic support it needs to win this war.
Calls for ceasefire now must be completely dismissed. Israel cannot allow Hamas to stay armed, in power, and able to commit further atrocities against its people.
Hamas alone is responsible for the bloodshed in Gaza and Israel.
Dear A.,
Today, the IDF continued to push further into Gaza, destroying Hamas’ capabilities and taking out the head of Hamas’ anti-tank missile unit. Fighting is raging, and 16 Israeli soldiers have been killed in the operation.
Reports indicate that Israel is now on the edge of Gaza City – the core of the terror group’s stronghold in the Gaza Strip. America must give Israel the time, resources, and diplomatic support it needs to win this war.
Last night, the IDF struck a Hamas tunnel network in Jabaliya, Gaza and killed dozens of Hamas terrorists – including a senior commander – who were hiding underground beneath residential buildings.
IDF Spokesperson Jonathan Conricus provided important details and framing to CNN’s Wolf Blitzer, which I encourage you to watch here.
TWO VIDEOS TO WATCH AND SHARE:
1. In a new video, a Hamas leader warned that "there will be a second, a third, a fourth" mass-slaughter of Israelis – until the Jewish state is annihilated.
This chilling call to repeat the October 7 massacre further underscores that a ceasefire now would only keep Hamas armed, in power, and capable of committing more atrocities.
2. Watch this interview with Palestinian activist Bassem Eid on Australian TV. Eid condemns the anti-Israel protests around the world and underscores a core point: Hamas alone is responsible for the bloodshed in Gaza and Israel.
KEY VOTES EXPECTED SOON:
The House is expected to advance a number of key legislative items – possibly beginning tonight – to increase the pressure on Iran, including the SHIP Act.
As Israel continues to push into Gaza, Iran is working to open a fourth front against Israel. Yesterday, Israel intercepted an incoming missile fired by the Houthis in Yemen toward Eilat.
The Houthis are an Iranian-backed group whose motto is "God is great, death to America, death to Israel, curse the Jews, and victory for Islam."
In a major breakthrough, Israel used the Arrow missile defense system to intercept the incoming missile from Yemen. Arrow had never been used previously in a live combat situation, and the program is a direct byproduct of our work together.
Through AIPAC, you’ve lobbied Congress to approve more than $4.5 billion to build the top tier of Israel’s defense shield, which is jointly developed with the United States.
Because of our work over many years, Israel has the capabilities it needs to defend its citizens against this new threat.
JEFFRIES REJECTS ANTI-ISRAEL SMEARS:
House Democratic Leader Hakeem Jeffries appeared on CNN last night and reiterated his support for Israel, saying, "We need to make sure that Hamas is defeated."
Jeffries also rejected anti-Israel smears by Rep. Cori Bush and the Squad, saying, "Israel is not conducting an ethnic cleansing campaign. Israel is not engaged in genocide. Israel was brutally attacked in the most horrific way on October 7th. It has resulted in the largest loss of Jewish life since the Holocaust. And Israel is in a position where it is responding and going after Hamas. That is a necessary and urgent project for it to complete."
We have also created a webpage for you to access all AIPAC materials on the war, including FAQ documents, memos, and easy ways to share pro-Israel messages on social media. Click here to visit the site and share it with others.
The mission of AIPAC is to encourage and persuade the U.S. government to enact specific policies that create a strong, enduring and mutually beneficial relationship with our ally Israel.
