Dear Friend,

Congress is supposed to do the people’s business. When it doesn't, my patience runs out pretty quickly.

This week, the Washington Examiner published a story about my dedication to serving Americans and my complete lack of patience for the usual Washington nonsense. They tell me my no-nonsense approach to life went viral twice in as many weeks.

Ok, fine.

As the reporter quoted me in the article, “Once a minute is wasted, it can never be brought back." Click here to check out the full article.

There are too many urgent matters that demand our attention and Washington is stuck in business as usual mode. If a plain-spoken woman from the mountains is what it takes to keep Congress focused on actually doing the people’s work, so be it.

I don’t want to waste anyone else’s time, but I also don’t have time for all the political gamesmanship that passes for “work” these days. Let’s get some real work done.

For once, I’ll let the media say it for me: “Foxx's work ethic has earned her a reputation as a tenacious and unrelenting legislator who isn't afraid to speak her mind.”

Hope you enjoy the article.
